Ministers are discussing proposals to cut the waiting time for boosters from six months to five, according to the Daily Telegraph. The paper says the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisations is “on board” and the prime minister “supported the change” amid rising cases. It says Jeremy Hunt, the former health secretary, “floated the change yesterday as a way to boost the number with maximum protection before Christmas”.
