The Telegraph also splashes with a picture of Mr Johnson flanked by his deputy Dominic Raab and new Chancellor Nadhim Zahawi at Prime Minister’s Questions on Wednesday. It writes the “mortally wounded PM” insisted there would be three months of “chaos” while Tories picked a new leader. The paper also quotes an ally of Mr Johnson describing Mr Gove as always being “treacherous, disloyal, self-obsessed, untrustworthy”. The levelling up secretary was sacked after meeting with Mr Johnson in a bid to call for his resignation.
