The Sunday Telegraph says even senior Downing Street aides were kept in the dark about the ceremony, while one member of staff at Westminster Cathedral said they only learned of the couple’s identity a day before the wedding. The paper says the ceremony came days after it was reported the couple sent “save the dates” for a celebration of their marriage on July 30 next year.
