The row over the PM’s Downing Street flat has done little to dent public support for the Conservatives, according to the Times. The paper says a YouGov poll found an 11-point gap between the parties. Despite the overall support, the poll found more than half of those surveyed agree the Tories are “very sleazy and disreputable”. Elsewhere, it says hopes are rising that dozens of popular foreign holiday destinations – including Portugal and Malta – will form travel corridors with England as soon as mid-May.
