The Guardian says the Royal Family are in mourning as condolences and tributes came in from across the world following the Duke’s death. Flags were lowered to half-mast, and the tenor bell at Westminster Abbey tolled 99 times, in honour of Prince Philip.
The Daily Telegraph has a colour photograph of the Duke of Edinburgh on a black background, with its headline referring to the years of his life 1921-2021.
