Immigration minister Robert Jenrick says he is “very confident” the Supreme Court will rule in favour of plans to send asylum seekers to Rwanda, but that he will do “whatever is necessary” to end the small boats crisis, the Daily Express reports. The paper says his comments come after being asked whether the UK would quit the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR) if the government loses.
