The Daily Mail focuses on the strike action by criminal barristers in England and Wales. “Justice is being held to random”, Justice Secretary Dominic Raab writes in an article in the paper after lawyers voted to go on an indefinite, uninterrupted walkout from 5 September. Mr Raab argues the walkout will cause “untold anguish” to victims of crime and will make streets less safe as offenders are allowed to roam free.
