The Daily Mirror says a British military task force is being sent to the eastern Mediterranean to “help stop all-out-war” in the Middle East. Downing Street said the military units would help tackle the humanitarian crisis and track threats such as the “transfer of weapons to terrorist groups”, the paper adds.
