A rewards programme will be created to incentivise families to switch to healthier food and exercise in order to tackle the obesity crisis, the Daily Telegraph reports. People’s supermarket spending will be monitored through an app, rewarding those who buy more fruit and vegetables. Points can also be earned by those who increase their exercise by taking part in organised events, the paper adds.
