Outside of the region, the US issued a rare worldwide terror alert warning, the paper says, “as tensions mounted and anti-Israel and anti-Western protests spread across the Arab world”. The front page also carries an opinion piece co-written by former prime minister Boris Johnson, in which he likens the war in Ukraine to what is happening in Israel, and says that the UK must support both.
