The Financial Times reports that accountancy firm EY is exploring a public listing or partial sale of its global advisory business. The paper says the move would be an attempt to resolve conflict of interest issues that dog the industry and that it would be the “most radical transformation” among the world’s biggest accounting firms in two decades.
