Planned changes to the Northern Ireland Protocol leads headlines on Monday. The Financial Times reports Boris Johnson is set to publish a bill that will “rip up” the plans agreed with the EU. The FT says it has led to accusations from some Tory MPs he is “damaging the UK and everything Conservatives stand for” and breaking international law. The Northern Ireland Secretary Brandon Lewis insists the bill would fix problems in the protocol, adds the paper.
