Speaking to the Financial Times, the president of Poland has called for Nato to offer Ukraine security guarantees after the end of the war with Russia. Andrzej Duda says the move would be vital to ensuring Ukrainian troops keep up their morale as it will give them the “feeling that Nato stands with them. The paper also notes the statement comes ahead of a visit by US President Joe Biden to Poland to mark the first anniversary of the Russian invasion.
