Three of the largest universities in the UK have called a halt to face-to-face teaching, the Guardian reports. More than 80 universities in the UK have reported at least 5,000 confirmed cases of Covid-19 among students and staff, including more than 1,000 at Manchester University, which was among the institutions to suspend in-person teaching.
