Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab’s grilling by MPs over Afghanistan features on many of the front pages. The Guardian highlights a Foreign Office risk assessment from less than a month before the fall of Kabul, which warned the Taliban could rapidly return to power. But when the report was put to Mr Raab, the paper says he “appeared to be taken by surprise” and said he had believed the Afghan capital would remain safe until next year.
