Elsewhere, COP26 president Alok Sharma has said that India and China will have to explain themselves to poor nations after the climate deal was watered down at the weekend, the Guardian reports. Mr Sharma said he had been left deeply frustrated after the countries objected to the commitment to “phase out” coal, instead opting for the less impactful commitment to “phase down” coal.
