The main story in the Guardian is about a leaked report, commissioned by the government, which reportedly says the origins of the Windrush scandal lie in 30 years of “racist immigration laws designed to reduce the UK’s non-white population”. The Guardian says the conclusion was set out in a paper commissioned by the Home Office that officials have allegedly tried to suppress over the past year.
