Almost all of Tuesday’s papers lead on David Cameron’s surprise return to government after Suella Braverman was sacked as home secretary. The Guardian calls the former prime minister’s appointment a “shock return” to government and reports that the right-wing of the Conservative Party is “enraged” by Mrs Braverman’s firing. The paper also features a story about Israeli forces reaching the gates of Gaza’s biggest hospital as hundreds remain trapped inside.
