The Metro’s top story is on the first public appearance for Prince Andrew since he paid £12m to settle a civil sex abuse case brought in the US after a woman accused him of assaulting her when she was 17. Prince Andrew has continued to deny the claims. The paper reports the “disgraced royal” will appear at a thanksgiving ceremony to celebrate the life of his father Prince Philip at Westminster Abbey on Tuesday.
