The majority of Tuesday’s papers lead with the travel chaos at British airports, as passengers face long delays and missed flights during the half-term holidays. The Metro says staff shortages have caused misery for millions, leaving families sleeping on airport floors and queuing for up to eight hours for flights. The paper reports that Liberal Democrat transport spokesperson Sarah Olney has called for the government’s Cobra committee to intervene. “It’s clear the government have failed,” the paper quotes Ms Olney.
