The Daily Mirror describes its lead story as another example of the Metropolitan Police being “in crisis”. The paper reports that three officers – one police chief and two retired officers – have been accused of child sex offences. The two former officers, aged 62 and 63, are to appear in court accused of having indecent images of children, it adds.
