It comes as dozens of countries, including Turkey, are to be removed from the red list banning international travel in time for next month’s half-term holiday, the Times reports. However, the paper leads on Prime Minister Boris Johnson being challenged over fears that a new defence pact could lead to Britain being dragged into war with China. Former PM Theresa May asked Mr Johnson about the “implications” of the UK’s nuclear submarine agreement with the US and Australia in the event of a Chinese invasion of Taiwan.
