The “BBC’s lies destroyed our mum” says the front page of the Daily Mirror. Both Prince William and Prince Harry released statements following the publishing of the investigation into the Martin Bashir Panorama interview with their mum, Princess Diana.
The Daily Mail joins most of the other newspapers in splashing on the Duke of Cambridge’s comments about the Martin Bashir interview. Tomorrow’s edition of the paper contains 20 pages of coverage on the story.
The Independent also leads on Prince William’s comments about the investigation into the BBC’s behaviour over the Panorama interview with Princess Diana.
Another paper, the Daily Express, also leads on the Duke of Cambridge’s “fury” over what happened at the BBC. The Lord Dyson report found that Martin Bashir used “deceitful behaviour” to secure the 1995 Panorama interview with Princess Diana.
